This part of Oregon offers plenty of outdoor activities either close by, or within 60-70 miles either direction east or west. Locally we have several lakes, rivers and streams which allow for all kinds of recreational activities. There is also plenty of hills and trails for hiking, riding, or whatever, and the camping options are abundant as well.  To the west is the Pacific coast with all that it has to offer, and to the east is the Cascade mountains with its various rivers and lakes as well. If your thing is outdoors of any kind, this is a great place for that.
